Caritas Matha Hospital Launches ‘She First’ Women's Health Screening Initiative

Caritas Matha Hospital, in association with Ettumanoor Municipality, has launched "She First – Women's Health Screening Camp," a monthly health initiative dedicated to promoting comprehensive women's healthcare. The inaugural programme was held at the Ettumanoor Municipal Hall under the chairmanship of Mr. Tomy Kuruvila, Chairperson of Ettumanoor Municipality.
The camp was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. John Poochakkattil, Joint Director, Caritas Hospital.
The initiative aims to enhance health awareness among women and facilitate the early detection and timely treatment of diseases. The camp will be conducted on the second Saturday of every month, offering a range of health screening services and consultations with specialist doctors exclusively for women.
During the inaugural function, Rev. Fr. Saiju Puthenparambil, Assistant Director, Caritas Hospital, Ms. Pushpakumari, Vice Chairperson, Ettumanoor Municipality, and Mr. Mathew Vakkathumalil, Chairperson, Health Standing Committee, extended their felicitations.
Representatives from Caritas Matha Hospital and Ettumanoor Municipality were also present at the event. The health camp was led by Dr. Julin M James and Dr. Aneeza Nazer, Consultants in the Department of Gynaecology at Caritas Matha Hospital.
