Dr. Riya Francis

Dr. Riya Francis is a highly qualified Fetomaternal Medicine Specialist with expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies, fetal health assessment, prenatal diagnosis, and maternal care. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Thrissur, DGO from Government Medical College, Kottayam, and DNB (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from Thiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital. She further pursued a Fellowship in Fetomaternal Medicine from CIMAR, Edappal.

Prior to joining Caritas, Dr. Riya served as Junior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Dr. KM Cherian Institute of Medical Sciences, Chengannur, where she gained extensive experience in the management of complex pregnancies and fetal medicine cases.

At Caritas Matha Hospital, Dr. Riya provides comprehensive care for expectant mothers, with special focus on high-risk pregnancy management, fetal growth monitoring, prenatal screening and diagnosis, fetal anomaly scans, maternal medical disorders in pregnancy, and evidence-based antenatal care. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.
