Dr. Bibin P Mathew

Dr. Bibin P Mathew is a highly experienced General and Minimal Access Surgeon with extensive expertise in advanced laparoscopic procedures. He completed his M.S. in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Kottayam (2011–2014), where he emerged as the state topper in the ASI Kerala Chapter Surgery Quiz in 2014. He completed his M.B.B.S. from T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha (2003–2008) and later pursued FMAS, FIAGES fellowships in laparoscopy, shaping his career in advanced surgical care.

• First Keralite surgeon below 40 years to be invited to present at the 111th National Surgical Congress, Yokohama, Japan (2017).
• Performed the first laparoscopic whipple’s resection for periampullary carcinoma in Kottayam (2020).
• Successfully performed transmesocolic endoscopic component separation for abdominal wall hernia (2019).
• Conducted the first transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy in central Travancore (2019).
